About East Perth Redevelopment Authority
Inner city Perth is enjoying a resurgence as people from all walks of life reassess their lifestyles and recognise the advantages of living close to where the action is. In fact, it is estimated that in the next 10 years, thousands more people will choose to live close to the city.
Meeting the challenges of these changes is the East Perth Redevelopment Authority which, since its establishment in 1991, has been responsible for the redevelopment and revitalisation of more than 300 hectares of inner city land from East Perth to Subiaco. As an urban innovator, the East Perth Redevelopment Authority promotes quality infrastructure and great architecture, inspired by our state’s natural beauty and heritage, and supports new events and attractions that will enliven our city.
The Authority is playing a lead role in creating a ‘Vital Perth’ through projects such as Subi Centro, Claisebrook Cove, East Perth Power Station, Riverside, New Northbridge, Northbridge Link and planning for the Perth Cultural Centre redevelopment. With its values of listen, lead, communicate and innovate, the East Perth Redevelopment Authority is delivering internationally significant regeneration projects that are transforming Perth into a vibrant, world-class city.
